As people continue to comment on the killing of Ummi Garba, a 26-year-old pregnant woman who was murdered at her home in Hadeja Local Government Area of ​​Jigawa State on social media, her father, Malam Garba Umar said he felt depressed on receiving the shock the demise of his daughter.

According to BBC, Ummi’s father said he last saw her on Sunday when she attended her sister’s wedding at their family residence.

“Ummi came home on Sunday and we spent the day together because her sister was being celebrated before her husband came to pick her up and they left. This was the last time I saw her.

“It was my brother who called me on Wednesday and told me that some people had killed Ummi. I immediately went to her house. What my eyes saw was frustrating and I will never forget it,” Malam Garba said.

he said Ummi only got married to her husband 19 months ago. “She was pregnant,” he said.

He said his 26-year-old daughter was obedient and he would never forget her.

WikkiTimes reports that Ummi was killed by unknown persons yet to be identified after she was raped in her house. At the time of the incident, Ummi’s husband was not home.
