Bauchi Farmers Fault Influx of Adulterated Fertilizers, Agro-Chemicals As Farming Season Starts

Farmers, as well as stakeholders in Bauchi state, have raised an alarm over the influx of substandard fertilizers and other range of agro-chemicals in the market as this year’s farming activities get underway.

The farmers set up a Taskforce Committee to fish out uncertified farm inputs currently in circulation in markets in the state.

Alhaji Abubakar Jafaru Ilelah, Programme Manager Bauchi State Agricultural Development Programme, said this during farmers and stakeholders meeting in Bauchi.
