The leader of the group, Jamilu Mato, stated this while addressing reporters at the end of its delegates meeting at the Sir Abubakar Tafawabalewa Tomb in Bauchi.

He said Governor Umahi is one Nigerian who has the necessary expertise required to unite Nigeria if given the chance in 2023 to be at the helm of affairs of the nation’s central government.

Mr Mato said Nigeria at the moment needed a president like David Umahi whose exposure and progressive mindedness are deciduous for peaceful and a transformed Nigeria.

“Governor David Umahi is a visionary leader, transformational Agent, Unifying Factor, Shrewd Administrator, patriotic and problem Solver. “His dream is of a Nation that will be a land of abundant opportunities, where every man and woman will live life to their fullest potential; a land where citizens’ lives and liberties are safeguarded and properties protected; a land of equity, peace and security where no one is oppressed. His dream is of a united Nigeria where no one suffers discrimination on account of gender, tongue or creed,” he said.

Mr Mato explained that David Umahi’s mission is to build and consolidate on the peace and Godly foundations laid by past and present leaders of Nigeria, committed to the ideals of the founding fathers of the Nation.

He said the Ebonyi State Governor is committed to pursuing an integrated policy of economic development and transformation anchored on agro-industrialization, aggressive prospection/exploitation of the rich mineral deposits of Nigeria, to make the nation a tourist destination and a haven for investors through a balanced and vibrant economy; and provide effective leadership and benign political governance that will ultimately lead to significant improvements in the standard of living for all Nigerian.
