The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Bauchi State, Abdulrazak Nuhu Zaki on Sunday stated that there is no room for a new governor in 2023 as the incumbent governor, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed will win his second term reelection by the grace of Almighty Allah.
Nuhu Zaki in an interactive session with journalists in Bauchi on the chances of the incumbent governor winning the 2023 governorship election in the state, urged candidates of other parties to wait till the end of the 8 years of his principal.
The commissioner said the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state is united more than before and will work collectively on ensuring the successful victory of Governor Bala Mohammed in the 2023 general elections and expressed confidence in his victory in the polls having won the hearts of the people of the state through the provision of dividends of democracy.
He noted that, in his second term, Governor Bala Mohammed will consolidate on the achievements recorded so far for the rapid development of the state thereby ensuring advancement of critical sectors of the state’s economy for the benefit of the citizenry.

“Among all the gubernatorial candidates of various political parties in Bauchi State, no one has the political background and leadership qualities of Senator Bala Mohammed and with his performance so far within 3 years which you cannot compare it with the wasted 4 years of the immediate past APC government, citizens of Bauchi State will not allow their votes to go for anyone than Kauran Bauchi in 2023 elections.
“Senator Bala Mohammed has brought a lot of development to Bauchi that no one did like him in the history of Bauchi State with massive transformational agenda going on in nooks and crannies of Bauchi State and it will be very difficult for us to get a person like Kauran Bauchi.”

On the chances of PDP winning all the elective positions in the 2023 general elections, Nuhu Zaki said already APC led federal government has failed Nigerians and must be voted out of power in the forthcoming general elections, adding that, PDP has good policies that will meet the yearnings and aspirations of Nigerians.
“Looking at the current challenges facing the country, we must reject APC presidential candidate and support the PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar for the best interest of the country as Atiku has all it takes to provide the needed changes in Nigeria.”
